Raining Rubbish

Society is getting more and more vulgar. It seems very very acceptable to swear and be rude to others these days. At the top of their voices. On the train. In the future, it'll probably be normal :/

A pleasant rainy day today, with a nice touch of thunder :D Would love to be snuggled in bed, hearing the rain-drops fall. But exams :O Feeling sort of ready...sort of

And today was Melbourne Cup Day! The day when people fork out thousands of dollars just to look stupid and think they are a big piece of cheese in a little world. Gosh. Use your money on something more productive.

People these days D;

Fitting in with the cloudy weather, today's piece is Assassin's Guide by jcbarquet

The colour is beauuuutttiiiifullll <3 I particualrly love the tinge on the windows, nice teal glow. The sky is perfect, the birds roaming in the sky a brilliant touch. The reflections of the windows on the water are wonderfully done. Pristine image, very very good. :D

Oxidation and Reduction

Weather is back to nice nice :D (aka rainy rain XD )

I neeeed sleeeeep. Waah! Exams are nearly here!

Ok, lets really plaster this post with images today!!

Here is Invasion by Raikoh-illust

That is so awesome and mysterious! Those creatures/machines look beautiful, hostile and contrasting to the environment. The flame looks really cute too :D The painted atmosphere is simply stunning!

And here is Sub-Urban by MarkJayBee

That colour range! Spectacular! The amount of effort it must take to make these, I cannot fathom :O
Looks so pretty :3

Last one is The Ellenshaw Corridor by tigaer

Got my attention due to its wonderful futuristic look, reminds me of Mass Effect and Star Wars! Lovely! :D

Yea, my vocab range is finally manifesting
Bye! Off to read a thesaurus XD

Fly as high as the Sun

Pom piddley pom om pom

Daylight Savings tomorrow! Lose one hour of sleep, noooo! XD

The engineers better come up with a self-ironing machine soon. Ironing is one thing in life that I fail at completely :D Maybe it's just the perfectionist side of me that dictates the ironing must be perfect.

I am not :(

Today's wonderful piece is titled 06-10-12 by Sanchiko

That is so immensely detailed! Spectacular! I just can't get over how detailed everything is! :O Amaaaazing

Chewing Rain

It's raining again in beautiful Melbourne. Lots and lots of rain :D
Rain is good!

Rain allows for rain dance, and rain walk, and rain fun :D

Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiin :D :D :D

Here is a wicked-sick piece called GSV MainBay III by MarkJayBee

The amount of detail is amazing! Seems like there's images within images! Spectacular

Failures

In the paper the other day, there was some tale about some stupid celebrity crashing a wedding, even after she was asked not to, and then asked to leave. Of course, she doesn't.

Celebrities. Over-paid losers who think they are a big piece of cheese in a little world.

Of course, not all of them are bad. But most of them are. Most of them. What gives them the right to ruin a wedding with their unwanted presences? Needed a good punch in the face, that loser.

Anyway, let us return to the city!

Here is hongkong by wlop. Stunning image, the atmosphere is beautiful, a classic city morning in the winter months, the rain pouring, obscuring all. The high-rise stand tall, the city lights pour out their energy to those interested. So vibrant, love it :D

I wish I could be eternally vibrant :D

NaCl Rain

You can overhear lots of weird conversations on trains XD Just saying! Theu'll make good bedtime stories for your future generations.

There was once a guy talking about how he watched the lewd stuff on SBS late at night when no-one was around...and about how he had a prostitute friend who could offer them (his friends) a group discount

Yea, so...!

Here is Abandoned Harbor by VoltaCrew
Spectacular scene! That beautiful industrial look, of crates, and cranes, and a messy dock, love it! There are birds in the sky - sorry, no food for you here! The rust looks fantastic, the rain stunning. Just another day at the docks, eh?

Rain Dance

Cleanliness is something I highly value. Brushing my teeth, vacuuming the house, tidying my shelf, all of these give me some form of satisfaction XD

Anyways

Time to re-visit our old buddy and check out another of his fantastic pieces. May I introduce, John-F-Kennedy Alien Hunter by SharpWriter
What a creatively awesome piece! I love the unicorn, it just looks so awesome, with its futuristic, robotic design and all. What is that in Kennedy's hand? D:

But yea, this guy has awesome ideas!

Hemi-finished being

6 hours straight of classes can be harsh indeed! But I won a prize in class! XD

Also, late trains and drunk people are the bane of mankind D;

Let us return to the dark and grim places of the city. May I present, the Alley by SimonWeaner

What a beautiful scene! The downpour, how refreshing! (As you may know, I love rain)
What is happening in this image? We see the fires in the building, something unusual on a rainy day. Then we notice the man, hiding, body tense and coiled, vigilant, ready to strike. Is he up to mischief? Or is he the victim?
We can only speculate!

And catch the glimpses of the beautiful city in the background, looming mightily and proud.

:D

Reign of Rain

When it rains in Melbourne, it really does rain! I love rain! Nothing better than a good run through the rain. So refreshing.

So let us begin today with Drifted by korbox

The mood and lighting in this image is perfect. I really wish I could do stuff like that, the lighting is just aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! That soft mist, brilliant. I love the colours used in the image, especially those of the bright street lights that contrast well with the more morbid blue-grey of the background. The rain is perfect, almost as if korbox used a mathematical formula to direct its placement :D The city in the background is also gorgeous.

That is like the worst appraisal of art ever. Ever.

Definitely go check out his deviantART page, he has some amazing works. Some of them will definitely be popping up here from time to time

Until next time!
