The title of the blog is a rather funny quote I found from the novel ' City of Glass' from the Mortal Instruments series - definitely check it out!
Looking forward to the cool change, after today being 40 degrees! :D Cold weather is my forte
What can we talk about today?
Naah, to hot to talk about anything. Instead, let's look at two wonderful pieces.
Here is Star kingdom planet by arsenixc
So much detail in this picture! Imagine our cities in the fitire, looking like that! Who knows, it may come to pass. The only thing I don't like about this picture is the colour scheme. But the artists knows best, not some peasant like me XD
And here is Engie's nightmare by alexiuss
I love it! The colours are really good at conveying a moody, grim scene. The image just looks so cooool XD Reminds me a tad of Metro 2033, the game involving post-apocalyptic Russia.
So many talented people out there!

Mockingjay
Starting a course next week to get a Certificate in Hospitality :D Who knows, silly little DisaFear may find a job soon! :D Looking forward to acquiring some new skills. It is free too, government funded, so yay!
Been reading the Hunger Game series, really interesting and fun. But it acutely reminds me of someone I loved and lost... :(
Also watched Skyfall the other day, didn't see what the hype was all about. Maybe I'm just used to novels, where they have lots of time to explain what goes on. That movie had a really dodgy storyline -.-
Here is le guerisseur de cathedrale by ourlak
That is just stunning. The whole atmosphere is so vibrant! The colours are wonderful, the blue tinge suits it perfectly. The building itself is very majestic. Such pro talent...wish I had some.
Speaking of which, I may start a new project soon :)

Letting it all go
What shall I rant about today?
Hm..
Tattoos and piercings.
Honestly, do people think covering half their body with ink is cool? Not my place to argue with them, but why? In the years to come, regret will appear around the corner.
Then there was the guy who put ink in one of his eyeballs. Seriously?
And piercings. Having bits of metal protruding out of the lips. Or nose. Why? I just don't get it.
Some people can pull off eat-studs well. But other piercings just look horrible. Especially those massive ear extendable thingys.
Gross.
I found an amazing piece of art today. Here is Mandira by JonasDeRo
I don't know where to start. It is simply breath-taking. The colours are epic. The red glows and hues are amazing. The buildings themselves are wonderfully detailed. The scene itself in the image is spectacular; seems to me like the bustle of a market at its closing hour. As everyone heads home at the end of the day.
Just. Love. It.

Summer Winds
There's a beautiful breeze outside :) So refreshing after the hot day that was yesterday.
Walked out of Kmart today with two strollers and lots of toy cars. Not for me of course...but the audience don't know that D: Probably thought I was some crazy young teen father D:
What can I rant about today?
Hm.
Smokers.
Why do they do it? Stress? Trend? Really?
There are other much better ways to relieve stress. Really. Google it up and I'm sure you will live to see some grandchildren.
Cool? Really? If your friends find smoking cool, they are not friends at all. Friends do not seek to bestow early death upon their loved ones.
There are much cooler things in the world than a cigarette and early death. Motorbikes? Cooking? Breakdancing? Endless list...
Ooo, I have a new-found passion in cooking :D After these holidays, I will become a master-chef :D
Here is a nice piece, Cold Breath Speedpaint by YukkaWerewolf
So pro! The sky is a perfect blend of colours, so moody and nice :) The weather looks soo cold, just by looking at it, yum, shivers down my spine :D That poor person, gazing at the horizon, looking for...something... XD

Clouds of the City
I just discovered the beauty of ginger tea today :D tastes and smells pretty good. Normally, I'm just a milk/sugar tea person, plopping in 2 teaspoons of sugar and gulping it down. Bit it seems like I will have to start experimenting more.
And I made potato chips last night! Chef in the making :P
Here is an amazing piece, Han by *JonasDeRo
The mood is lovely. As I've said many times before, I love cities! And there's nothing better to add to that than a beautiful tinge of orange from the sunset :D
Wish I could be there right now, strolling the streets with someone special :)

Post-Exam World
Well, exams are now over :D
Currently writing a resume, gosh, I need more co-curricular activities! Need to get more involved in volunteering and stuff :(
Also, I think I saw a meteorite the other night! There was this big yellow flash, and I distinctly saw something heading down towards the ground D:Surely, it wasn't a plane, it'd be all over the news. Nor a UFO :P
Also, I got a new phone today :D A big step up from the Nokia brick that I possessed since forever :D
Check this piece out, a rather unreal and eerie scene, titled they made me do it by =marcocasalvieri
It reminds me of a famous piece, the name eludes me. This image has a mystical twirl to it, the colours of the fire fantastic :D Is the guy trapped? Is he waiting for someone or something? What does the antler/deer/moose think of the whole situation? Is it the mastermind behind this scene? Who knows! XD

Superpowers
This morning, I had a super-headache. I occasionally have these. And I cannot get out of bed :(
Nooo, this close to exams too! Whyyy? D:
Aldehyde plus alcohol? Hemi-acetal! Yay!
Check this out! So good! The melody of the night by Leonidafremov
This painter has a wicked palette of colour! So vibrant! So happy! So beautiful :D
Everything has perfect shades. The reflections are wicked. The image itself, and the message it presents, its so cute :D
Damn. So gooooood.

Pushing the pedal through the floor
What is Facebook doing to us?
I swear, in the future, friendships are going to be broken due to 'likes' and stuff. Seriously?
Just today, two people indirectly suggested I 'like' their stuff. Indirectly of course. Why? Does it make you feel more human?
Seriously?
Sigh. We would be much better off without Internet, as a race. Maybe not economically (?), but I think the human race is in decline. People eternally tapping at their stupid phones.
Pro piece of the day is Time by imperioli
My my, how to interpret this image? I don't even :D
Foundation of the building on the seabed? How is that fence stopping what I assume is the ocean?
Damn, that is a very creative piece. To think about the world in that way, so pro :D

Scenes of the Future
Here is a wonderful view from the top of the Menzies building at Monash University that I took this morning
So beautiful :D
And today was the last day of Uni for this year. Ah, twas a good time. Certainly made a lot of good friends. Enjoyed the content. Looking forward to next year!
Today, we have a most magnificent piece. Here is Deep by Aegis-Strife
I don't know what to say :D The background marvelously compliments the main image, the man with his head on fire. What a creative idea. Wish I was that awesome :D Ten out of ten.

Healthy
Don't worry, I am still alive and healthy
Oh, I know you wish I wasn't! :D
Good ol' Melbourne, very cold morning, then a very warm afternoon. Why do you do this to me? :(
So, what is happening. Hm.
Hot nights makes it harder to sleep :( And you know it, I love my sleep, oh yes I do.
I'll be baking cake in 3 days! Excited :D Another cooking experience for Chef DisaFear :D
Today's magnificent piece is Machinery of the Stars by alexiuss
Such beauty. The city is absolutely perfect, the pinpricks of light being emitted are masterfully crafted. The being pondering the heavens is perfectly placed. The gears are just pure professional'ness :D For me, the image shows the inner workings of the sky, that only this brave soul can see, as the rest of the city sleeps on, unaware of the beauty of nature.
Yes, I'm partially crazy :D

Oxidation and Reduction
Weather is back to nice nice :D (aka rainy rain XD )
I neeeed sleeeeep. Waah! Exams are nearly here!
Ok, lets really plaster this post with images today!!
Here is Invasion by Raikoh-illust
That is so awesome and mysterious! Those creatures/machines look beautiful, hostile and contrasting to the environment. The flame looks really cute too :D The painted atmosphere is simply stunning!
And here is Sub-Urban by MarkJayBee
That colour range! Spectacular! The amount of effort it must take to make these, I cannot fathom :O
Looks so pretty :3
Last one is The Ellenshaw Corridor by tigaer
Got my attention due to its wonderful futuristic look, reminds me of Mass Effect and Star Wars! Lovely! :D
Yea, my vocab range is finally manifesting

Today was a good day :D
Productive day, good weather, saw some funny stuff ;D

Let's plaster this post with pictures!
Here is Distant Lights by TylerCreatesWorlds
Beautiful. So pristine. Pure. Shiny :D
Here is a rather fun image I found on dA, called Life Size McDonald's Monopoly Board by ChalkTwins
That is so cute :D Should have a whole board somewhere, with people as playing pieces :3
When will you say yes? Yes, you.

Train Racing
I had a funny dream :D Was sitting on top of a racing train, heading towards South Yarra Railway Station (for those of you who live in Melbourne)
Was fun :D
Weather cranking up over here, hot weather makes me tired :(
Here is a magnificent image, from a rather pro comic series, titled The flight is now boarding by alexiuss
That is so cute! :D Nawwsiess
Definitely check out the comic series, it looks really interesting!

Chewing Rain
It's raining again in beautiful Melbourne. Lots and lots of rain :D
Rain is good!
Rain allows for rain dance, and rain walk, and rain fun :D
Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiin :D :D :D
Here is a wicked-sick piece called GSV MainBay III by MarkJayBee
The amount of detail is amazing! Seems like there's images within images! Spectacular

Integration
Casually finishing a 1 hour test in 10 minutes. :D
Ah life :D
Here is a wonderful piece I just stumbled across, titled Digital Painting Tutorial with Video by ReneAiger
That is amazing. The sky is pristine. The atmosphere wicked. The mountains and grass are really nice, I especially like the colour of the greenery. The structure in the background is just majestic :D

Fry-stirred
Today, I had my first genuine cooking experience! I'd really love to learn how to cook, but I am terrible at it.
Anyways, stirred up a beautiful dish of vegetable stir-fry noodles, with capsicum, peas, corn, onions and other stuff I have forgotten. Good times :D
To art!
Here is Hydra by ramsesmelendeze
That lone, mighty warrior! What a lad :D

Shopping
I just noticed that the women's clothing section is over twice as large than the men's clothing section at Big W. What even? Is it because women just like shopping, so as to cater for them? Or is there a subtle emphasis that they have to always look good?
Eh, whatever.
Back to pro surreal pieces! Here is Song instead Of A Kiss by borda
This guy. What a boss. Such imagery. Such symbolism. Look at the flowers. Look at his flag. Look at his 'weapons'. Look at his legs. Look at the tank on his back. Ah, how it melds, to make an image open to interpretation. So pro!

Exultation
Today, a childhood friend of mine got married! Happy for him, he looked absolutely dashing, my new role model :D
To celebrate this occasion, we will change it up, from the usual photo-manipulations, to a bit of other stuffs :D
May I present, Sunset from the Aumar Lake by MaxineCourty
That sky is bloody amazing. Aaah, I wish I could sit down on that grass, with my closest friends and loved ones, and stare at that sky, without a worry on the shoulder. Alas, our troubles and concerns will never die away - they follow you like a shadow.
Here is another beautiful image that I managed to take a peek at, named Dream in a Dream II by raysheaf
You can stare at this forever, and still not decipher it! Images within images, layers within layers, so mystical, deep, entrancing, love it!
That is all :D

Change
Sleep is such a precious commodity :(
Here is Edge of Precipice by taenaron
Brilliant scene. Again, there's that beautiful looming, majestic city in the background, futuristic and wicked. We see a lone man, cloaked, observing silently, deciding his next course of action. The bridge itself - what is it a crossing for? We will never know. The colours fit well in the image, so pro. Wish I had an imagination like this.
