On my quest to becoming a pro-cook, today I made my first pizza from scratch :D
Actually, two of them!
On them, there was capsicum, mushroom, onions, pineapple, tomatoes, oregano and lots of cheeeeese!
The crust was a bit thin at some places, but overall, the pizza was okay :)
Just need more experience.
Here's a rather quaint piece, titled Bipolar by tvurk
Reminds me a lot of the yin-yang duality. Light and dark. Good and bad. One half seems to signify the evil side of stuff, the other side portraying the good. LOL, this is just my interpretation, my poor twisted mind. Death and growth...
Mmmm....brains :D

Whatever doesn't kill me...had better start running
The title of the blog is a rather funny quote I found from the novel ' City of Glass' from the Mortal Instruments series - definitely check it out!
Looking forward to the cool change, after today being 40 degrees! :D Cold weather is my forte
What can we talk about today?
Naah, to hot to talk about anything. Instead, let's look at two wonderful pieces.
Here is Star kingdom planet by arsenixc
So much detail in this picture! Imagine our cities in the fitire, looking like that! Who knows, it may come to pass. The only thing I don't like about this picture is the colour scheme. But the artists knows best, not some peasant like me XD
And here is Engie's nightmare by alexiuss
I love it! The colours are really good at conveying a moody, grim scene. The image just looks so cooool XD Reminds me a tad of Metro 2033, the game involving post-apocalyptic Russia.
So many talented people out there!

Hero Teenagers
I made my first coffee today on the coffee machine :D They tasted horrible, like hydrochloric acid, but still, it is a start! :D I aim on becoming a very skilled coffee maker. At least I can try and be good at something.
Here is a cute coffee :3
Naww, what a cutie XD
Back to values and skills. Actually, maybe not. Let's talk about something else.
I asked a friend "What is the biggest problem with today's society?"
The friend said 'Entitlement'
And if I interpret his reply correctly, I think I agree. I was listening to people today sulking about how bad their coffee is, and abusing the maker and all. Seriously. People make mistakes. They were getting the coffees for free as well. We all make mistakes and learn. I also found an interesting quote in a book, I think it was "City of Bones" (really good series, read it!)
It was something along the lines of "Every teenager thinks they are some noble hero, born into the wrong family"
It is true, we don't appreciate our family and friends. Think we are entitled to everything we want.
I'll stop there for now XD
Found a loveeeely piece today, here is Nostalgia from 2128 by JonathanP45
Really cute image. Really detailed too. Reminds me a bit of the game Metro 2033, where Russian survivors of a nuclear war bunker down in the only safe place - underground in the metro.
The damage in this image, the leaks, the colour all remind me of the game XD
Really lovely picture. My favourite parts are definitely the detail and colour :)

Cleaner Deaner
I think I have some sort of OCD about cleanliness. I love keeping my room sparkling. Love throwing clothes into the washing machine :P It just makes me feel better, more pure D:
I'd love to see Singapore. Isn't it one of the cleanest cities in the world? Yumm!
*looks around at messy room*
Ok, I should get back to work :3
Before I depart, I shall leave a nice work of art here, Sunset by iancjw
Those trees (I assume) are so beautiful! <3

Art of Movement
So, back to DisaFear's self-piteous and boastful blog entries XD
A skill that I admire in anyone is grace.
The art of movement.
Fluid movement.
I love this so much. Effortlessly negotiating crowds. Terrific footwork to swivel. Leaping off stairs to land gracefully at the bottom. Radiating confidence. Radiating aura. Reflexes. Reacting to changes in the environment instantaneously. Constant vigilance (Harry Potter! Remember it? XD )
I don't know what made me so interested in fluid movement. Then there's parkour and free-running, love those. All beautiful. Maybe its all those thriller books I read. Or the video games? Dishonoured? Gosh. You guys are thinking I am crazy :D
(I am by the way :D )
Even ballet interests me now, with its awesome footwork. Sports as well, like badminton, tennis, etc, all have terrific footwork to go with them
There are many things of beauty in this world. And I think 'graceful movement' is one of them. And I will become a master of it one day XD
LOL. Look at me, babbling such nonsense. :D
Found a wonderful piece today, titled Taking Control by MildlyReactive
The colours are just AMAZING! I don't know what else to say. You guys surely know me well by now, I loooove city scenes. The urban scene. Just gets me all excited :D Love this so much!

Mind Map
So, enough blogs about my boring days. Let's start discussing some values.
How about values or skills that I may possess that I deeply value in others?
I'll do one for today.
Hmm, what to pick on.
Maybe memory.
I just realised that I may have a decent memory. So many people say "Oh, I'm bad with names". I realised that I can remember names pretty well. In my class of 30 people, I think I knew the names of at least 12 people in the first two days. :D
Memory is a good skill to have. Of course, everyone knows that! I love memorising maps XD Just walking with friends, guiding them around places with just your brain, a cool thing to do XD
Let us move on to the picture. Here is Sharkcarrier by Kamikaye
Beautiful work of art! The colours really remind me of the Protoss sect from Starcraft. The 'carrier' itself is wonderfully detailed! The clouds and ambient scenery are very pretty; I really like how the birds were added.

Bosy Bee
So busy! Need to write blogs! But no time! Zomg.
I promise I'll write a real blog entry on Sunday. A real one. Not just my dodgy day events. I'll try...
Just quick news, been reading the first book of 'The Mortal Instruments' series, very good! Love triangle replaced by a 'love pentagon' haha!
D: Regina Spektor is playing in the city tonight D:

Ity in Hospital
So today was the first day of my training for the Certificate in Hospitality.
It wasn't as great as I thought it'd be. But it was okay! The people were okay.
It'll get more fun as time goes by :)
Here is some wonderful fractal art, One Million and Two by dainbramage1
I've seen a lot of fractal art before; to me, they were just stuff that looked cool, like cool patterns with cool colours. This, however, seems to have its own storyline! (At least to me)
Really reminds me of clockwork for some reason. Really nice piece :)

Mockingjay
Starting a course next week to get a Certificate in Hospitality :D Who knows, silly little DisaFear may find a job soon! :D Looking forward to acquiring some new skills. It is free too, government funded, so yay!
Been reading the Hunger Game series, really interesting and fun. But it acutely reminds me of someone I loved and lost... :(
Also watched Skyfall the other day, didn't see what the hype was all about. Maybe I'm just used to novels, where they have lots of time to explain what goes on. That movie had a really dodgy storyline -.-
Here is le guerisseur de cathedrale by ourlak
That is just stunning. The whole atmosphere is so vibrant! The colours are wonderful, the blue tinge suits it perfectly. The building itself is very majestic. Such pro talent...wish I had some.
Speaking of which, I may start a new project soon :)
