Early Owl

Today, I woke at 6:45am! XD The waking up part is the hardest, after that, you feel so good. Feeling full of energy right now. And the weather is nice too, a good change from the sweltering 40 degrees of yesterday.

I'm a winter person through and through.

It's been a long while since the last blog entry. Not that anyone cares :D

Let's get straight to it.

Here is a really cute piece, Carriage by Ishutani

Nawww, it's so cute XD I just don't know what else to say. I like the colours in this piece, the steel-grey and red meld really well.

Here's another really cool piece, Chase by bpsola

Reminds me a lot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turltes haha. Love it! The pace. The colours. The vibrancy.  The action. The blur is perfect. The city scene magnificent. Nothing better than a high-speed thriller ride in the dead of night, with the pretty city lights behind you, and your death looming ahead of you...

Okay, maybe not the death bit :O

But damn, it's beautiful!

Whatever doesn't kill me...had better start running

The title of the blog is a rather funny quote I found from the novel ' City of  Glass' from the Mortal Instruments series - definitely check it out!

Looking forward to the cool change, after today being 40 degrees! :D Cold weather is my forte

What can we talk about today?

Naah, to hot to talk about anything. Instead, let's look at two wonderful pieces.

Here is Star kingdom planet by arsenixc

So much detail in this picture! Imagine our cities in the fitire, looking like that! Who knows, it may come to pass. The only thing I don't like about this picture is the colour scheme. But the artists knows best, not some peasant like me XD

And here is Engie's nightmare by alexiuss

I love it! The colours are really good at conveying a moody, grim scene. The image just looks so cooool XD Reminds me a tad of Metro 2033, the game involving post-apocalyptic Russia.

So many talented people out there!

Lost in Space

Hot day today D: You know how I hate hot days :(
Can't do anything fun on a hot day. I sweat too much :(

Slowly recovering from the traps of my mind. It will take a while. But everything does. Who knows what the future holds.

Still unsuccessful in finding a job! Zomg. Why won't you hire poor uni students? :( Maybe I can find a job as a labourer. Get all fit at the same time :D

On top of that, my bike tyre seems to have popped. There goes my whole fitness schedule D;

At least I have a nice dinner to look forward to tomorrow night in the city :)

Been reading more Matthew Reilly books lately, he is so amazing. Definitely one of my favourite Australian authors. If anyone even reads these, go check him out! Just finished Area 7 for the 6-7th time, it is still as pro as ever

Going to try and read The Hunger Games next, see if it is as good as everyone says it is :)

Here is a spectacular piece, Hummingbird by radoxist

No words needed. It. Is. Just. Beautiful. :)

Summer Winds

There's a beautiful breeze outside :) So refreshing after the hot day that was yesterday.
Walked out of Kmart today with two strollers and lots of toy cars. Not for me of course...but the audience don't know that D: Probably thought I was some crazy young teen father D:

What can I rant about today?

Hm.

Smokers.

Why do they do it? Stress? Trend? Really?
There are other much better ways to relieve stress. Really. Google it up and I'm sure you will live to see some grandchildren.

Cool? Really? If your friends find smoking cool, they are not friends at all. Friends do not seek to bestow early death upon their loved ones.

There are much cooler things in the world than a cigarette and early death. Motorbikes? Cooking? Breakdancing? Endless list...

Ooo, I have a new-found passion in cooking :D After these holidays, I will become a master-chef :D

Here is a nice piece, Cold Breath Speedpaint by YukkaWerewolf

So pro! The sky is a perfect blend of colours, so moody and nice :) The weather looks soo cold, just by looking at it, yum, shivers down my spine :D That poor person, gazing at the horizon, looking for...something... XD

Healthy

Don't worry, I am still alive and healthy
Oh, I know you wish I wasn't! :D

Good ol' Melbourne, very cold morning, then a very warm afternoon. Why do you do this to me? :(

So, what is happening. Hm.

Hot nights makes it harder to sleep :( And you know it, I love my sleep, oh yes I do.

I'll be baking cake in 3 days! Excited :D Another cooking experience for Chef DisaFear :D

Today's magnificent piece is Machinery of the Stars by alexiuss

Such beauty. The city is absolutely perfect, the pinpricks of light being emitted are masterfully crafted. The being pondering the heavens is perfectly placed. The gears are just pure professional'ness :D For me, the image shows the inner workings of the sky, that only this brave soul can see, as the rest of the city sleeps on, unaware of the beauty of nature.
Yes, I'm partially crazy :D

Poetry in Motion

There's something about motorbikes that just give me the thrills. I've never posted a video on my blog yet, let this be the first.

That. Skill. Courage. Beauty. Hot damn, that is so lovely, weeeee zoooooooooom :D :D
As the commentator said, it's just "Poetry in motion"

Yea. <3 Motorbikes <3

Anyways, pro piece of today is Joy and Misery by alexiuss

That dinosaur-looking beast looks so cool!! Nooo, poor Captain is being decimated :'(
Really love the glow effect on the beast, and the atmosphere in general :)

Train Racing

I had a funny dream :D Was sitting on top of a racing train, heading towards South Yarra Railway Station (for those of you who live in Melbourne)

Was fun :D

Weather cranking up over here, hot weather makes me tired :(

Here is a magnificent image, from a rather pro comic series, titled The flight is now boarding by alexiuss

That is so cute! :D Nawwsiess

Definitely check out the comic series, it looks really interesting!

Time Angles

There is probably a formula for this, involving proportionalites and limits :/ . As we approach summer, the clothing on people get less and less. Yes, yes, it is hot. Still, you can dress modestly! Don't have to show everything!

Sigh.

Today's piece of awesomeness is The Lord of Darkness by AlviaAlcedo

I really love the head-piece of our 'lord' :D So creative. The background is spectacular!

Tired, that is all for now :D
